BRIDAL HAIR - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Your questions answered
Can you accommodate large wedding parties?
I am happy to accommodate parties of any size. If the party is too large for me to comfortably style myself with a reasonable start time, I have assistance that I can add onto your quote that will come and help me prep!
What hair products do you use?
I use a selection of high quality styling products including GHD wet line products, Schwarzkopf, Tigi BedHead, and GHD electricals
Do you require a deposit?
I require a £50 non refundable booking fee. This secures the date for you and your bridal party only. Once this is paid this ensures the date is yours.
I’m a bit nervous about booking right away. Can I book my trial and give a deposit at a later date?
you are welcome to book a trial and pay your booking at a later date, but this means that the date is open to be booked by other brides so I cannot guarentee your wedding date would still be free if you wanted to book this way.
How far do you travel?
I am willing to travel anywhere to style you and your bridal party. If long distance (over 2 hours) I would possibly require an over night stay to ensure I was bright eyed and bushy tailed to style your wedding party, but this would be discussed at enquiry stage.
How soon in advanced should I book my bridal hair services?
I suggest to any bride booking any suppliers that if you have specific suppliers in mind, they should be booked very shortly after your wedding date is secured with your venue. Popular suppliers get booked up a couple of years in advance, so it’s important you reach out to all suppliers as soon as possible and get your booking fees paid.
Will I be your only event on the day of my wedding?
Yes I only take one bridal booking per day, and I stay with you until you are in your dress to ensure your veil is on securely and you look perfect to walk down the aisle
How will the Bridal Hair Schedule go on the day of?
Schedules are not something I strictly run by on a wedding morning, get yourself a good hair stylist and makeup artist and the two of us will work accordingly around each other. Make sure everyone who needs to be in the bridal suite for styling or makeup is there from our arrival time incase they need to hop in a seat. The only stipulation I have is that a Bride will never go first and never go last, and I always like to have everyone ready an hour before they need to get in cars or an hour before ceremony time. This means stress in the last hour can be avoided and you have time to enjoy one last glass of fizz together!
How do we prep our hair for styling?
Everyone’s hair must be freshly washed and blowdried into the correct parting and NOT straightened the night before the wedding. This is my preferred prep and is important that the bridal party follow these steps!
